Our production sites operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and many of our shops are also open over 7 days a week. We rely on our engineering and maintenance teams to carry out repairs or installations in response to both emergency breakdowns or planned, preventative and predictive maintenance schedules.

The work includes mechanical, electrical and refrigeration work on all aspects including the building structure, utilities, fixtures and fittings, refrigeration units, and production and catering equipment.

They also manage all aspects of statutory compliance in line with including the carrying out of regular inspections, risk assessments, safety checks and reporting results to external organisations. Facilities engineers are also responsible for Retail Health and Safety.

Our Engineers typically workday shifts, working 5 out of 7 days with an on-call rota for out of hours emergencies.
